SNOW is a four letter word -- Friday is CANCELLED~

Ok ladies ~~ we are cancelled for Friday the 26th (today)!

I waited as long as I could...we're getting dumped on up here~!

The snow has settled it for us. Michael is taking my SUV so he can get to work and I'm bussing it... His car is sliding something fierce!! If I can't get there, I suspect it would be tough for a lot of you!

We'll reschedule, again... look at it this way...more time to dance when it's nice outside!!

Sunday rehearsal is most definitively on. Not going to reschedule at all... Period :O) See you there by 1:00~

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 19th -- We're back!! (Modified Schedule)

We are finally back!! Yay!!

We will have a slightly modified schedule though! I had forgotten with all of this crazy weather and rescheduling:

• Mixed level will be from 6:00-7:30
• Level 3 will be from 7:30-9:00

If this causes anyone any problems, please let me know! I will try to make it up as best I can....I apologize for the lateness of the message!!

RESCHEDULING THE MAKE UP CLASS UNTIL THE END OF THE SESSION:

The Friday Makeup class for the 2/5 which was moved to 2/12, will be changed to the end of the session, March 26th. The La Belle Sultana rehearsal has been rescheduled for April 16th.

The Tuesday Makeup class for the 2/9, will be added to the end of the session, March 23rd

THERE IS NO CLASS THIS TUESDAY (2/9) and FRIDAY (2/12), and NO REHEARSAL THIS WEEK.....

***WEATHER ALERT*** Friday Class, February 5, is rescheduled for February 12th

Due to the impending snow (doom!) I want everyone to be safe!! I am rescheduling tomorrow night's class for the following week (February 12th) where we did not have class scheduled. La Belle Sultana rehearsal will be rescheduled as well.... (likely we will just have a longer rehearsal on the 28th). Please call me with any questions!!

I am often asked specific questions about the dance and my dance style in particular...I am pleased to offer the answers to the most frequently asked questions... So please join me for a series of specialty workshops in the New Year.

• January 8^th 7-9 pm: Songs Every Dancer Should Know – Dancing to the Music
• January 15^th 7-9 pm: Proptastic – Bring your favorite prop, or borrow mine Style and Technique with things to balance, swing and fling (veils, cane/sword, basket/tray)

January 17^th 1-3 pm: Costuming and Make Up Techniques – Stage and Show (with a potential special guest)

Classes will be held at the Bodiography Studio in Squirrel Hill...please note the change in times...I want more time to focus with each group, so we will be going to a 1.5 hour class schedule!

LEVEL 1 Technique: Foundations for Belly Dance - Tuesday

• * No Prerequisite, on-going classes
• * Tuesdays 6:15-7:45 -- Bodiography Studio -- 5824 Forbes Ave. Sq. Hill
• * January 26 - March 16 -- 8 weeks
  
• * $100 for the session, register by January 15th
  

LEVEL 2 Technique: Continuing Drills and Choreography for Belly Dance - Tuesday

• * Must have taken Level 1 or have previous experience
• * Tuesdays 8:00-9:30 -- Bodiography Studio -- 5824 Forbes Ave. Sq. Hill
• * January 26 - March 16 -- 8 weeks
  
• * $100 for the session, register by January 15th

Take both Tuesday Classes for $175!


Mixed Level Technique and Drills: Incorporating Levels 1 and 2 - Friday

• * Previous belly dance experience requested, not required, on-going classes
• * Fridays 6:15-7:45 -- Bodiography Studio -- 5824 Forbes Ave. Sq. Hill
• * January 22 - March 19 -- 8 weeks (No class February 12th)
• * $100 for the session, register by January 15th, $15 Drop-ins

Mixed Level Choreography / Level 3 Technique - Friday

• * Previous belly dance experience, on-going classes
• * We will be using zills (finger cymbals) for part of class
