Make-Up

"It's All In The Eyes" with Patrice. Step-by-step demonstration to achieving a flawless face with a strong emphasis on the eyes for both stage and intimate venues. Basic make up techniques will be covered, including tips-and-tricks for an effortless application, essentials for your dancer emergency kit, and a SURPRISE give-away for one lucky workshop participant!!! Attendees are encouraged to bring make up items that they have questions concerning specific uses, application, etc. Please bring a notebook and a pen, because a lot of information will be covered in a short amount of time.

Costuming

Focusing on basic items for both Tribal and Cabaret Style! Learn about pants, skirts, bras and belts...plus accessories! Berna is an award-winning costumer with over 15 years of dabbling in the costume arts! This is a great workshop to leran tips and technique, styling, fit and flair for beginners and experienced sewers. Berna will share some of her original patterns...this is not to be missed!

** Drillz and Zillz Workshop: September 12^th 1:00 - 4:30 pm ... $25 Adv., $30Door

Drills "I like to MOVE IT-MOVE IT" with Patrice...Give your brain and body a workout during this stretch, strengthen and conditioning class. Technique drills will draw from modern, ballet and jazz, as well as bellydance with a focus on traveling across the floor. Please bring a yoga mat, water and comfortable clothing. Although modern, ballet or jazz training is not a pre-requisite for this class, some previous bellydance experience is recommended.

Zills, Sagat or Finger Cymbals! Come learn and drill finger cymbal patterns and figure the magic accents in the music! We'll explore how to use musical accents in your dance and how the zills can bring them to life. We will go over some finger cymbal technique and practical drills and use these instruments in our dance. I will also teach a pattern for a popular song...Some loaner pairs will be available, but are limited, so please let me know when you register!
